Colour: Natural (a real mix of black, to grey and moorit across the length)
Each 100g is a bag of unwashed fleece cuttings, so you will need to work on these and blend as you work. Alternatively if you want curls for doll's hair you can cut the curls off of the fleece cutting.
Each fleece has been picked and sorted, so debris is minimal and you should be ready to wash the fleece if required.
Wensleydale fleece is ideal for yarn and felt blending and hand dyeing. It has so many wonderful curls across the length of the fibre that you can create some really stunning crimp and slub effects.

*Fleece special note: The staple length refers to the 'typical' saddle length of this breed, so please be aware that you will receive some staples of shorter lengths if your batch is taken from slightly lower down. Please note that this will not effect your ability to spin, or felt with this fleece.
