This is a Student Top whorl Drop Spindle kit (Level 1 - Beginner), with full instructions for beginners and 100g of wool to get you started. Once you've mastered this, you can move onto a standard Top Whorl Spindle.
A drop spindle is a cheap and traditional method for spinning yarn from fibre. The spindle has a wooden shaft, wooden whorl. The spindle is extremely well balanced and easy to use. In the kit you will get;

100g of wool to start you off. In this case I am sending you a selection of coloured Merino, which is a great fibre to work with as a beginner.
This kit is great fun and perfect for learning to spin with.
