Mawata Silk Hankies - NATURAL

100% Pure Mawata Silk Square hankies. These are very fine and soft and really are a top quality of silk Mawata. They made from silk cocoons stretched into squares over a frame. These are gossamer thin silk layers made into squares.

 

These are approx. 10 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches, or 26.5 x 26.5cm. You will find that they are gently wrinkled when you buy them, but I have taken a flat measurement. Please note that measurements may vary slightly from hankie to hankie due to the way they are produced.

 

Please note that these are not normal hankies you buy from clothing stores and are aimed at fibre arts (mixed media), not traditional batik or silk painting.
