Tussah Silk Top - NATURAL

£1.20 (GBP)

Tussah Silk is also known as ‘Wild’ Silk as it was traditionally gathered from wild, Bombyx mori  silk worms. This silk is often tougher in strength than the cultivated silks, such as Mulberry Silk. The colour and texture is ever so slightly more rough than cultivated silk with a slightly more golden/off white hue.

Tussah Silk is much more commonly used in fibre arts, as it is often less expensive compared to Mulberry… but none the less gives stunning results!
