Angora Top - WHITE

£1.95 (GBP)

A beautiful pure white combed top of Angora rabbit. Angora fibre has a very soft, silky texture and is usually 10 to 13 microns thick. The fibres are also hollow, which gives them loft and a characteristic floating feel. Pure angora wool is almost impossible to make, because the fibres are too fine and the wool will simply unravel but can be made into pure Angora felt. Angora fibres are usually mixed with other soft fibres, such as cashmere and lambs wool. Angora wool tends to be very warm and is frequently used to trim sweaters or to knit hats and scarves.

Count: 10-13 micron/Bradford n/a, Staple 7.5 - 12.5cm Weight: 50g (approx. 330-360cm in length)
