The Devon branch of the guild meets at America Hall, Pinhoe (Exeter) on the second Saturday of each month. They are a friendly bunch and often have visiting speakers/workshops, covering a wide range of skills.

Louise is a practising weaver, with a wealth of knowledge to teach. She offers beginner courses (which I have personally undertaken and recommend) and more advance specialist workshops. There is also a change to take a term of workshops, geared to updating your skills and mastering table looms and floor looms at Coldharbour Mill.

per hour session, plus materials used. "I've been spinning, and occasionally teaching spinning, for over 30 years. Most of my yarns are for knitting and crochet, and the challenge is to help each learner produce the
sort of yarn they want to be using - thick or thin, smooth or textured. As well as using sheep fleece from a wide variety of breeds I have worked with alpaca, silk and poodle (!)."
